WEDDINGS AT ST SWITHUN’S

TO BOOK A WEDDING at St Swithun’s you need to visit the Parish Office situated in the Hall behind the Church on any Saturday morning between 9.30am and 10.30am where one of our assistants will help you. 

Marriage is a joy, and we will be happy to assist you in every way. However there are legal rules governing marriage in the Church of England which we are obliged to follow. These state that we may only marry people who live in our Parish or who are on the Church roll of regular worshippers. However, there may be occasions when we can also marry people who are students or living away from the family home which is our Parish. If you are unsure whether you qualify please come and talk to us and we will try to help if we can.
